Texas Woman Stranded for Days in Burley Wastewater Pond.....
My friend Mary posted this news story on her facebook the other day and it made me laugh. I quote her:
"Really? If you have a minute, you should read this article. Gary's opinion of Texans has gone down dramatically....."
That is no offense to my Texan friend (DIANA!!) :)
But seriously, I can't believe this lady.
Again in Mary's words:
"To sum it up...a lady drove into a poop pond at the back of a huge dairy....stayed in her car for 5 days and then decided she wasn't going to be rescued and got out. Then walked to the nearest house (which was 1/4 mile away). "
She didn't want to get out of her car to get help because she had always been told to stay put when she was stranded. She survived on M&M's and water.

So, I just can't help but think there is something wrong with this woman.... I mean....not to leave your car for 5 days because you were "taught not to". What is ridiculous is that she was AT A DAIRY and could probably see the lights and cows. Ah, at least she didn't drown in the poop when they started to fill it up.....that would have been crappy.
